Designed for the Kolkhoze Gallery in Paris, the Duomo Sofa explores the intersection of architecture and furniture through a sculptural yet restrained form. Drawing inspiration from the eclectic domes of Bucharest, the piece translates an architectural silhouette into a graphic, two-dimensional outline before reconstituting it into a three-dimensional volume. The result is a sofa that feels both monumental and inviting, where geometry defines comfort rather than ornament.


Upholstered in mohair wool by Zimmer + Rohde, the Duomo Sofa balances classical references with contemporary minimalism. Its generous proportions and enveloping form create a strong spatial presence, making it a statement piece that anchors interiors while offering refined comfort.
