Membership Terms

Last updated: August 2026

These Membership Terms govern membership of the Designeers Club and access to the Designeers Members Lounge.

Designeers is operated by Style Ventures Ltd, trading as Designeers, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12995398, whose registered office is at Unit 2.02 High Weald House, Glovers End, Bexhill, East Sussex, England, TN39 5ES ("Designeers", "we", "us" or "our").

These Membership Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any membership information presented to you at checkout, form the agreement between you and us when you become a member.

Where a third-party platform, including Circle or Stripe, is used to provide or administer membership, your use of that platform may additionally be subject to that provider's own terms.

What Designeers Club Membership Is

Designeers Club is a curated international membership community for interior designers, architects, makers, artists, creative founders and other selected members of the design community.

Depending on your membership category, benefits may include access to the private Designeers Members Lounge; opportunities to connect with other members; editorial call-outs; professional and industry opportunities; member events and gatherings; design destination intelligence; Design Journeys; Member Privileges; and other benefits introduced from time to time.

Membership is primarily a community, connection and access product. Individual benefits may evolve as the community develops.

Membership does not guarantee any particular commercial result, commission, client, introduction, media exposure or business opportunity.

Membership Eligibility and Admission

Designeers is a curated community.

Membership may be offered following an application, nomination, invitation, complimentary invitation, trial invitation or another admission process determined by us.

We may accept or decline an application at our discretion and are not required to provide reasons for our decision.

Admission to one part of the Designeers ecosystem does not automatically create an entitlement to admission to another.

Membership is personal to the individual or, where expressly agreed, the named studio or practice, and may not be transferred, shared or resold.

Membership Plans and Fees

The membership plans, benefits and applicable prices currently available are displayed on our Membership page or communicated to you before joining.

The fee applicable to your membership is the price presented to and accepted by you at checkout.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, membership fees are payable annually in advance.

Any applicable taxes will be identified where required.

From time to time, we may offer founding, introductory, promotional or other preferential rates. Any such rate applies on the terms communicated when it is offered.

Changes to Membership Fees

We may change our membership fees from time to time as the Designeers Club and its benefits develop.

Any change to the price of an existing member's subscription will not take effect during a membership period that has already been paid for.

Where a price change will apply at renewal, we will provide reasonable advance notice of the new membership fee before payment is taken, giving you the opportunity to cancel your membership before renewal.

Promotional, founding, introductory or preferential rates may be offered from time to time and may be subject to separate conditions communicated when the offer is made.

Membership Period and Renewal

Unless expressly stated otherwise, paid membership runs for 12 months from the date your membership begins.

Where you have selected or agreed to automatic renewal, your membership will renew for a further membership period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

We will send a renewal reminder to your registered email address before an automatic annual renewal and will tell you the renewal price and how to cancel.

Where an instalment arrangement has been expressly agreed, the instalments form payment of the annual membership fee and remain due in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.

Cancelling an annual membership does not convert it into a monthly or divisible membership.

Trials, Complimentary Access and Promotional Membership

We may occasionally invite selected individuals to experience the Designeers Members Lounge through complimentary, introductory, promotional or trial access.

The duration and conditions of any such access will be communicated at the time of invitation.

A complimentary membership or access period does not create an entitlement to future complimentary membership.

Where a trial will automatically convert into a paid membership, we will tell you before you activate the trial:

  • how long the trial lasts;

  • the amount you will be charged when it ends;

  • when payment will be taken;

  • the membership period that will then apply; and

  • how to cancel before payment is taken.

Where payment details are collected for a trial, they will only be used in accordance with the terms disclosed when the trial is activated.

We may limit the availability of trials or promotional offers, and they may not be combined unless expressly stated.

Consumer Cancellation Rights

If you enter into your membership as a consumer at a distance, you may have a statutory right to cancel your membership within 14 days without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, contact us at contact@designeersclub.com

If you expressly request that we begin providing membership services during the cancellation period and subsequently cancel during that period, we may be entitled to charge an amount proportionate to the services already provided, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Membership Terms limits any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have.

Cancelling Your Membership

You may prevent your membership from renewing by cancelling before the next renewal date.

Cancellation can be made through any cancellation functionality we make available to you or by contacting contact@designeersclub.com

Unless applicable law provides otherwise, cancelling an annual membership takes effect at the end of the membership period already paid for and does not entitle you to a refund for the unused part of that period.

When membership ends, access to member-only spaces and benefits will end.

This clause does not affect your statutory rights.

Membership Benefits

Membership benefits are intended to create access, connection, discovery and professional value within the Designeers community.

We may introduce, develop, replace or discontinue individual benefits, spaces, features, events, partnerships or community initiatives as Designeers evolves.

We will not make changes that materially alter the fundamental nature of a paid membership during an existing membership period without reasonable notice.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, invitations, opportunities and benefits are subject to availability and may differ according to location, membership category, capacity or suitability.

Editorial Opportunities and Independence

Designeers is both a membership community and an independent editorial platform.

Members may receive access to editorial call-outs, submission opportunities and other opportunities to share projects, news, collections or ideas with the Designeers editorial team.

Membership does not guarantee editorial coverage.

All decisions concerning the Designeers Journal, newsletters, social media, Destination Guides and other editorial channels remain at the independent discretion of the Designeers editorial team.

Payment for Club membership does not influence editorial selection.

Submitting material in response to an editorial call-out does not guarantee publication.

Separate paid brand partnerships, advertising, sponsored content or clearly identified commercial collaborations may be offered independently of membership.

The Designeers BlackBook

The Designeers BlackBook is an independently curated editorial directory recognising selected designers, studios, makers and other creative practices.

BlackBook inclusion is separate from Club membership.

Purchasing or holding Club membership does not guarantee selection for, or inclusion in, the BlackBook.

BlackBook selection is determined independently by the Designeers editorial and curatorial team and cannot be purchased through Club membership.

From time to time, individuals or practices selected for the BlackBook may separately be invited to join or experience the Designeers Club or Members Lounge. Such an invitation does not change the independent nature of BlackBook selection.

Member Privileges

Designeers may arrange benefits, preferred terms, discounts, services, access or other privileges for members from selected Industry Partners and other third parties ("Member Privileges").

Member Privileges may be subject to individual conditions including geographical availability, minimum orders, product exclusions, professional eligibility, availability, delivery restrictions or other partner terms.

Privileges may vary between partners and countries and may be amended or withdrawn.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Designeers is not the seller or supplier of products or services made available through Member Privileges.

Any purchase, specification, order, contract or other transaction entered into with an Industry Partner is between the member and that partner.

Designeers does not guarantee the availability, suitability, quality, fulfilment or continuation of any third-party privilege, product or service.

Industry Partners

Designeers may select design brands, manufacturers, suppliers, showrooms and other businesses to participate as Industry Partners.

Industry Partners may be presented within the Members Lounge or other Designeers spaces without being Club members.

Industry Partner status does not automatically provide unrestricted access to the private member community, member directory, private discussions or member information.

Any access or participation granted to an Industry Partner will be determined by Designeers and may be limited to particular spaces, events, conversations or initiatives.

Events, Salons, Experiences and Design Journeys

Membership may provide access, invitations, priority booking, preferential pricing or other benefits relating to Designeers events, Salons, gatherings, Experiences or Design Journeys.

Unless expressly included within a membership benefit, these may require separate payment.

Individual events and Experiences may have separate booking, cancellation and refund terms, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

Membership does not guarantee a place at an event with limited capacity.

Community Conduct and No Solicitation

The Designeers Members Lounge is intended to be a trusted, relationship-led professional community. It is not an unrestricted sales, prospecting or lead-generation platform.

Members must treat other members, the Designeers team, guests and partners professionally and respectfully.

Members must not:

  • send unsolicited mass commercial messages or systematically prospect other members;

  • scrape, copy, harvest or export member information for marketing or sales purposes;

  • add members to mailing lists without their consent;

  • use the member directory primarily as a sales database;

  • repeatedly promote products or services outside spaces where such promotion is expressly permitted;

  • harass, intimidate or abuse another member;

  • impersonate another person or provide materially false information;

  • share confidential member conversations outside the community without appropriate permission; or

  • use Designeers spaces in a way that materially undermines the trust, safety or purpose of the community.

Normal professional conversation, relationship-building, recommendations, introductions and collaborations between members are encouraged.

Privacy and Member Information

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Members may receive access to information other members choose to share within the community. Such access is provided for genuine community and professional interaction and does not give members permission to harvest, redistribute, sell or systematically use that information for unrelated commercial purposes.

Members are responsible for deciding what information they choose to make visible within their profiles and community contributions.

Member Content

You retain ownership of original content you submit to Designeers unless otherwise agreed.

Where you upload or submit text, photographs, projects, comments or other material to the Members Lounge, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and reproduce that material as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the community.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide any material you submit.

This does not automatically grant Designeers the right to use member material for unrelated commercial advertising.

Where we wish to use member work substantially outside the community, normal editorial, promotional or other permissions may be sought as appropriate.

Member Badge and Designeers Name

Where provided, an active member may use the relevant Designeers Member Badge in accordance with any brand guidelines we issue.

The badge indicates current membership only. It does not indicate endorsement of every product, service, claim or activity of the member.

The right to use the badge ends when membership ends or if we withdraw permission because of misuse.

No other rights in the Designeers name, trademarks, logos or intellectual property are granted.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate membership where we reasonably believe that:

  • these Membership Terms or our community rules have been materially or repeatedly breached;

  • membership was obtained using materially false information;

  • another member, member of our team or partner has been seriously harassed or mistreated;

  • the Members Lounge has been used for prohibited solicitation or data harvesting;

  • fees properly due remain unpaid; or

  • continued membership would materially harm the integrity, safety or reputation of the community.

Where reasonably appropriate, we may first issue a warning or provide an opportunity to remedy the behaviour.

If we terminate a paid membership without fault on the member's part, we will normally provide a proportionate refund for the unused membership period.

Where membership is terminated for serious misconduct or material breach, a refund may not be provided to the extent permitted by law.

Introductions and Professional Relationships

Designeers may facilitate introductions between members, Industry Partners and other people within our network.

Introductions are made in good faith based on the information available to us.

Designeers is not an agent, representative or party to any contract, commission, employment, purchase, specification, collaboration or other relationship that may arise following an introduction unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Members are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into professional or commercial arrangements.

Third-Party Platforms

Parts of the membership may be delivered using third-party services, including community, payment, communications or event platforms.

Your use of those services may additionally be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Where reasonably necessary, we may replace a third-party provider or move the Members Lounge to another platform without this constituting termination of the underlying Designeers membership.

Changes to These Membership Terms

We may update these Membership Terms from time to time.

Where a change materially affects your rights or the nature of your paid membership, we will provide reasonable notice.

Material changes will normally apply from your next renewal unless earlier implementation is required by law, regulation, security considerations or circumstances reasonably outside our control.

Liability

Nothing in these Membership Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to those rights and any mandatory consumer protections, Designeers is not responsible for losses arising solely from:

  • the acts or omissions of other members or Industry Partners;

  • commercial arrangements entered into between members or third parties;

  • reliance upon recommendations or information supplied by another member;

  • the withdrawal or modification of a third-party Member Privilege; or

  • third-party platforms outside our reasonable control.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, our aggregate liability arising from membership will not exceed the membership fees paid by you to us during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Membership Terms affects your statutory rights.

Studio Membership

Showcase and Gallery

Studio membership may include a member showcase and eligibility for the Designeers Gallery.

Eligibility means that work may be considered; selection, presentation and the choice of pieces remain subject to Designeers' curatorial discretion.

No Commission

Unless separately agreed, Designeers does not take commission on a sale, commission or engagement arising through a member showcase, Gallery presence or introduction.

Studio Content

The Studio retains rights in materials it provides and grants Designeers a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display those materials in relevant member spaces, Gallery pages and reasonable promotion of the membership.

The Studio confirms that it has obtained all necessary rights and permissions, including photography rights.

Introductions

Introductions are made in good faith. Designeers is not a party to any resulting engagement or transaction unless separately agreed in writing.

Any specific promotional deliverable expressly sold as part of a Studio package will be governed by the package description accepted when the membership is purchased.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Membership Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or formation are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights concerning jurisdiction, the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from these Membership Terms.

Nothing in these Membership Terms affects rights you have under applicable consumer law.
