Sculptural furniture by Alex Turco made with natural stone

collectibles

Alex Turco is an Italian artist and designer working between Italy and the United States across collectible design and painting. Born into a family of artists and photographers, his practice developed through an early fascination with visual culture, craftsmanship and the natural world.

His Only One collectible design collection explores the relationship between nature, material and form through one-of-a-kind furniture and functional objects. Working with materials including marble, stone, minerals, crystals, resin and metals, Turco combines geometric precision with the natural variations of each material, creating sculptural pieces with a strong sense of presence.

Rooted in Italian craftsmanship and the country's industrial and artisanal heritage, his work brings together art and design without treating them as separate disciplines. His practice is defined by material research, minimalism, proportion and a belief in creating enduring objects that can be lived with.
