Deya is a design-led lifestyle brand founded in 2023 by childhood friends Defne Arıkoğlu and Yasmin Karamolla - born from a shared frustration and a clear vision: to create tableware that felt both elevated and alive. What began as a search for pieces that could hold the elegance of a candlelit dinner while carrying a sense of playfulness evolved into a brand that challenges the conventions of contemporary home design.
Designed between London and Istanbul, Deya reflects a dual perspective shaped by both cities - one cosmopolitan and irreverent, the other rooted in craft tradition and warmth. Working with master artisans across Turkey - glassblowers, woodworkers, and metal specialists - each object carries the mark of the hand, preserving the considered irregularities that give it character.
Today, Deya spans artisan tableware, handmade glassware, home décor, and collectible furniture, unified by a distinct design language where asymmetry is embraced, surfaces reveal process, and forms invite curiosity. The result is a collection of objects that feel expressive, confident, and made to start conversations.
