Founded by architect and designer Charu Gandhi in 2014, Elicyon is a London-based interior design studio creating considered spaces shaped by architecture, craftsmanship, culture and materiality. Charu’s architectural training and international outlook have informed a practice that brings together rigorous design thinking with a deep appreciation for the artistry and detail of interiors.
Charu joined Allies & Morrison in London in 2006, becoming a RIBA and ARB-qualified architect, before moving to Candy & Candy in 2011, where she took on an international role shaped by her global upbringing and experience of different cultures. Her portfolio spans South Asia, Africa and closer to home, with historical and cultural influences informing a thoughtful approach to contemporary interiors.
Based in Kensington, Elicyon has grown into a 40-strong studio working across interior architecture, interior design, project management and bespoke craftsmanship. Its work combines precision, imaginative design and an extensive understanding of materials, creating interiors that balance contemporary sensibility with storied opulence and understated wonder.
