Mongolfiera Venetian Ballooning is a sculptural Murano glass table lamp that celebrates the journey of Italian craftsmanship, beginning with the richly veined Palissandro marble quarried in Piedmont and culminating in the glassmaking traditions of Murano. When illuminated, the blown glass balloon glows like a radiant full moon drifting through delicate clouds, transforming the lamp into a poetic composition of light, craft, and storytelling inspired by Venice and the artistry showcased at the Giorgio Cini Foundation.

About the Designer
Founded by designer Marina Cighir, Aina Kari is a studio based near Venice, shaped by the dialogue between time-honoured craft and a restrained contemporary sensibility. Informed by Venetian glassmaking, marble carving, and hand-forged metalwork, the studio produces sculptural objects that reflect the contrasts of delicacy and solidity, equilibrium and tension, expressed through a quietly poetic design language.
