Designed for the Numbered Edition, its softly curved, sculptural form evokes intimacy, protection, and repose. The armchair appears to wrap around the sitter, offering not only physical comfort but also an emotional sense of shelter and calm.
Upholstered in luxurious mohair wool by Zimmer + Rohde, the piece blurs the boundary between furniture and body, responding to posture and movement rather than simply accommodating them. More than a functional seat, Never Let Me Go becomes an extension of the body, encouraging stillness, reflection, and a momentary slowing of time. A tactile, contemplative work that elevates seating into an experiential object.

About the Designer

Bogdan Ciocodeică is a Bucharest-based designer whose practice sits at the intersection of architecture, sculpture and furniture design. His work is defined by a rigorous yet poetic approach to form, translating architectural volumes, gestures and spatial ideas into refined collectible objects. Through a dialogue between material, geometry and the human body, Ciocodeică creates pieces that balance emotional presence with structural clarity, resulting in designs that are both sculptural and deeply considered.
