Francesco Maria Messina is an Italian designer whose work bridges the worlds of architecture and collectible design. From his studio in Tuscany, he creates sculptural furniture and objects that draw from nature’s forms and geological beauty. His collections reveal a fascination with materials such as marble, alabaster, and glass, transformed through artisanal craft into designs that feel raw yet refined.
After studying architecture in Paris and Lyon, Messina gained international experience in Cameroon and Mauritius, where he co-founded the luxury brand Cypraea. Today, his namesake studio continues that spirit of experimentation, combining technical precision with poetic intuition. Each creation tells a story of transformation, of matter shaped by hand, of design grounded in the rhythms of nature.
