Dining space designed by URBANJOBS showing spatial rhythm and atmosphere

DESIGNERS

Urbanjobs is a multidisciplinary design studio founded by Murat Dede, working across hospitality, retail, residential, and workplace environments from its base in Istanbul. The studio is known for creating immersive interiors where atmosphere, materiality, and spatial narrative are carefully composed into a cohesive experience.

Rather than applying a fixed visual signature, Urbanjobs develops each project through an understanding of how a space is meant to be inhabited. Light, texture, acoustics, and movement are treated as interconnected elements, shaping environments that unfold gradually and resonate through use. This approach has led to a portfolio of widely recognised destinations, from Batard and Momo Beach to collaborations with international figures and brands, positioning the studio at the forefront of contemporary hospitality design.

Designeers Says

Urbanjobs approaches interiors as atmospheres rather than compositions. Each project feels carefully calibrated, where light, material, and proportion work together to create spaces that are sensed as much as they are seen. There is a quiet confidence in the work, an understanding that restraint and clarity can create a deeper, more lasting experience than visual excess.

The Architecture of Dining: Urbanjobs on Restaurant Interiors

Urbanjobs’ work reflects a broader shift in contemporary design towards experience-led environments, where architecture, emotion, and storytelling intersect. As explored in their interview, the studio’s approach begins with atmosphere and evolves through material and spatial choreography, creating interiors that are not only visually compelling but deeply connected to how people gather, interact, and remember a place.
