The Ripple armchair by YET. Design Studio brings traditional Turkish quilting into a contemporary design language. Its solid oak frame provides a strong architectural foundation, while the handmade quilted velvet upholstery introduces softness, texture, and a sense of craft. Created to preserve and reinterpret the cultural heritage of Turkish quilting, RIPPLE brings together traditional craftsmanship and modern form in a balanced, timeless armchair.

Dimensions: W 70 x D 77 x H 79 cm
Materials: Solid oak wood, handmade quilted velvet upholstery with wool
Colours: Ultramarine blue, natural, or walnut stained
Production lead time: 6 to 8 weeks

About the Designer
Founded in 2019 by Yağmur and Lokman Köylü, YET. is an interdisciplinary design studio based between Istanbul and London. Working across interior architecture, furniture and product design, graphic design, and consultancy, the studio explores the relationship between beauty, functionality, and human interaction. Its name reflects an ongoing approach to design, embracing incompleteness as part of a continuous process of experimentation, refinement, and discovery.
