Sensu Sideboard Wood

The SENSU Sideboard Wood refines the language of the collection through a richer material composition and an extended, architectural form. Crafted in anigre wood and topped with Nero Marquina marble, the piece introduces a striking contrast between warm grain and deep, veined stone. Oxidised brass elements add a subtle patina and depth, completing a palette that feels both grounded and elevated. With its generous proportions and composed silhouette, the sideboard functions as both storage and statement, anchoring the space with quiet confidence.

About the Designer
Eva Szumilas is a Polish-Lebanese designer whose multidisciplinary practice merges Bauhaus clarity with a sculptural, materially rich sensibility. Based in Beirut, her work reflects a dialogue between structural precision and emotional storytelling, shaped by a cross-cultural perspective spanning Poland, Cyprus, Ireland, and Lebanon. With a background in architecture, she approaches each piece as both spatial and narrative, where proportion, material, and craftsmanship are carefully considered. Collaborating closely with master artisans, Szumilas integrates traditional techniques into contemporary forms, resulting in objects that feel timeless yet deeply expressive.
