What is one Lucas Recchia product that one must have?
lucas
I have a thing for the bulle table, the artisanal way in which the glass is worked awakens sensations of softness and a desire to touch the piece that are not common characteristics of this material.

What is the most difficult project you have worked on?
lucas
Certainly the Material Distortion collection, which is the last collection I released. It took me over a year to develop the collection, which mixes glass casting and bronze casting techniques and requires a high degree of complexity to complete the pieces.

What do you do when you are not in the studio:
lucas
I'm lucky enough to have a job that I don't see as work, which is perhaps why my personal life and my work life blend together. I'm very interested in visual arts, getting to know new countries and having contact with nature, but in a way these are sources of inspiration for the creation of my pieces.

3 suppliers or designers you'd love to work with?
lucas
I would love to work with Venini, I believe they have techniques that could result in incredible work. But in general, I look for old techniques and small artisans who pass on their knowledge from generation to generation to create new pieces with my language. I also want to collaborate with other designers, such as fashion designers, but it hasn't happened yet.

Favourite hotel in the world:
lucas
Aman hotels, I love the way they use design as a metric in all the hotels in the chain.
