Founded by British-Nigerian designer Mimi Shodeinde, Miminat Designs is a London-based interior architecture and design studio renowned for its sculptural furniture, lighting, and functional art. Rooted in fine craftsmanship and cultural narrative, the studio balances feminine grace with bold form, creating interiors and objects that are at once minimalist and expressive, timeless and emotionally resonant.

Drawing inspiration from Nigerian heritage, architecture, music, and art icons like Barbara Hepworth and Lina Bo Bardi, Shodeinde’s work brings a poetic interplay of form, texture, and movement to modern interiors. Recognised by Elle Decor, Wallpaper, and the Elle Decor A-List, Miminat has launched celebrated collections such as the Howard Series, exploring aviation, fluidity, and emotional form.

In 2025, Miminat opened its first London gallery and atelier in St John’s Wood, a jewel-box-like space showcasing its sculptural furniture, lighting, and artwork in a richly textural, architectural setting.
