Its sinuous yet angular form is finished with a soft matte surface, balancing sculptural character with everyday functionality. Handcrafted cast brass legs, individually scratched by the artist during the making process, add a contrasting sense of texture and detail.

Alex Turco is an Italian art designer working between Italy and the United States. His practice spans collectible design and painting, exploring the relationship between nature, material and form through a minimalist visual language. Rooted in Italy’s industrial and artisanal heritage, Turco creates one-of-a-kind collectible pieces using materials including marble, stone, minerals, crystals, resin and metals. His work combines geometric precision with an emphasis on surface, weight and balance, resulting in functional objects with a distinct sculptural presence.
