Describe your work in three words.

Nouie Interiors

Heritage, architectural & functional elegance.

DESIGNEERS

Can you tell us the story behind Nouie Interiors and the values that guide your approach to design?

Nouie Interiors

Nouie Interiors was founded as a natural extension of my architectural training and lifelong passion for creating timeless interiors. From the beginning, my goal has been to establish a design studio that celebrates architectural precision, cultural heritage, and functional beauty in equal measure.

Drawing on my Moroccan roots and European education, I developed a deep sensitivity to materials, craftsmanship, and spatial flow, elements that are at the heart of every project we undertake. Whether designing a contemporary residence in Dubai, a heritage villa in Europe, or a bespoke hospitality space, Nouie Interiors always seeks to balance structure and soul. Our philosophy is guided by respect for tradition, an appreciation for artistry, and a commitment to creating interiors that feel both enduring and deeply personal.

How would you describe your style, and how does the creative process begin when starting a new project?

Nouie Interiors

At Nouie Interiors, our style is timeless yet full of character, refined, elegant, and always personal. Every project begins with the client: we take time to understand their lifestyle, routines, and aspirations. From these insights, we shape a design direction that balances function with individuality, resulting in interiors that feel both enduringly refined and uniquely their own.

With projects spanning luxury residences and commercial spaces, which markets inspire you the most, and how do they shape your work?

Nouie Interiors

At Nouie Interiors, we are most inspired by the residential market. Designing a home allows us to create deeply personal spaces that reflect identity, lifestyle, and emotion — every detail, from the architectural framework to the smallest accessory, shapes daily life.

Our experience in commercial projects, however, adds discipline and functionality to our process. This balance ensures our interiors are both emotionally resonant and highly practical, blending personal expression with timeless design.

What is a recent project that best represents your vision and approach?

Nouie Interiors

At Nouie Interiors, every project tells its own story, but two recent works capture our vision especially well: Ikigai Pilates Studio in Downtown Dubai and a private residence in Cannes, South of France.

Ikigai showcases our ability to design commercial spaces that are both functional and inviting, while the Cannes residence reflects our residential philosophy — timeless architecture layered with character and warmth. Together, they highlight the duality at the heart of Nouie Interiors: creating interiors that balance elegance with practicality, whether for a brand or a home.

Who are the suppliers you collaborate with most frequently? How do you choose your partners to ensure quality and uniqueness?

Nouie Interiors

At Nouie Interiors, we believe in supporting local craftsmanship wherever possible. Much of our custom furniture is produced in our own workshop, where we can oversee every detail of the design and execution. This allows us to deliver truly bespoke pieces tailored to each project.

We also hold a deep connection to Moroccan craftsmanship, particularly through our use of traditional zellige tiles. Handmade with care and centuries-old techniques, they bring an authenticity and soulfulness to our interiors that feels both personal and timeless.

Alongside these bespoke and artisanal elements, we balance our spaces with carefully curated ready-made pieces from European design houses, and we consistently turn to Italy for its unparalleled marble. The combination of local making, heritage craft, and iconic European design ensures that every space we create is both distinctive and enduring.

What has been a particularly challenging project, and how did you overcome it?

Nouie Interiors

At Nouie Interiors, we place a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and authenticity. Much of our custom furniture is produced in our own workshop, giving us full control over design and execution to create truly bespoke pieces.

We also draw deeply on Moroccan heritage, particularly through traditional zellige tiles, handmade with centuries-old techniques that bring warmth, authenticity, and timeless beauty to our interiors.

Alongside these artisanal elements, we curate select ready-made pieces from leading European design houses and source marble from Italy for its unrivalled quality. This blend of local making, heritage craft, and iconic European design ensures every project feels distinctive, refined, and enduring.

When you enter a space, what is the first detail or material that catches your attention?

Nouie Interiors

For me, it always begins with the flow of a space, how furniture is arranged and how people naturally move through and inhabit it. This sense of usability and energy often matters more than the materials themselves, as it determines whether a room feels intuitive, comfortable, and alive.

That said, I have a particular fascination with marble. I love exploring different types and finishes within a single project, using them to create contrast, depth, and a layered sense of elegance that feels both tactile and timeless.

What are your aspirations and upcoming projects that excite you the most?

Nouie Interiors

At the moment, I am particularly excited about a very detailed residential project in Dubai, which presents an incredible opportunity to explore new layers of design and creativity. Equally special is a project we are developing in Morocco, which feels like a natural and meaningful next step for the studio.

Beyond individual projects, my greatest aspiration is to continue growing Nouie Interiors, creating more homes and commercial spaces that are both beautiful and deeply personal. Ultimately, I hope to design environments that endure, inspire, and elevate the way people live and work.

Who is your design hero?

Nouie Interiors

My design hero is Jean-Michel Frank. I admire his mastery of creating interiors that are understated yet profoundly luxurious, where every material and detail is chosen with precision. His work embodies timeless elegance — minimal in form, but rich in texture and atmosphere — and continues to inspire how I approach refinement, warmth, and functionality in every project at Nouie Interiors.

What is your favourite hotel for a design lover, and what makes it so special to you?

Nouie Interiors

For me, it has to be the Royal Mansour in Marrakech. This hotel resonates deeply because of my Moroccan heritage and the rich history of the place. Every corner is crafted with an impeccable eye for detail, from the intricate mosaics to the perfectly balanced proportions, creating a sense of harmony and refinement that feels effortlessly luxurious. It is a space where tradition and contemporary design coexist beautifully, and every visit is an immersive experience for the senses.
